to support our new found friends (haha), i went kahit na ako lang mag-isa. and im glad i did. i have now this new and much deeper respect for graffiti and the artists as well. for those who are wondering why i was alone, ju was busy with her ojt, abai with her job hunting, and pb was busy preparing for her tita's trip abroad. lahat nga sila hinanap sakin eh.. "O, asan mga kasama mo?" :)

i just took pictures all throughout the event. napapailing and ngiti nalang ako mag isa kasi ang gagaling nila. i fell inlove with graffiti even more.

dope took home the 3rd place, bonz got the 2nd place award, and the 1st place went to tagg sign (?), someone from san mateo cru? please correct me. winner takes all: a trophy and P5000. the other winners just received recognition. sayang naman.

BONZ, for us ikaw pa rin ang champion! galing...handsdown! naks burger burger burger! hahahaha :) lakas mo talaga mang-asar...hmp.

DOOM, you didnt have to apologize. di ako na-op. hehe.. masaya ako na nagpunta ako :) too bad, meow and grav weren't there with you guys.

aside from the graffiti writers na kilala ko (cis' doom and dope, sba's bonz), pilipinas street plan's egg was also there to compete. cya pala yun haha... his graffiti are all over espana eh, and if im not mistaken, he's a ust cfad student. skip, rank (from sba na nainterview din namin for our thesis), rezl, bass and tagg sign were the other participants.

rest, mgr, benz, flip1 and step1 were also there to support their friends. glad i got to see them again! :) and some of the people na matagal ko ng gusto makita were psp's mutationation (sila abai lang nakapag-interview sa kanya before), boy agimat (hindi kasi natuloy interview namin with him), and sir jay who is (or was?) a ust cfad professor. astig sila :D

it was a different experience watching many graffiti writers in action and in a real competition, di lang yung basta bastang pag bomb at gawa ng piece on an illegal wall. sana ngayon palang yung thesis namin para mas madaming footages and interviewees. haha!

katuwa pa, may nagpapaikot ng sketch pad, mag sign daw. ang sabi ko "ha? bakit? para san 'to?" sabi nung guy basta mag sign lang daw ako, so i did scribble my name. siguro akala nya graffiti writer din ako kasi lahat ata ng nagssign dun, puro tags nilalagay. kahiya hahahaha...

sana talaga ju was with me, after kasi nung event, may blank wall pang natira so it became a freedom wall. lahat sila nag-tag. siguro nakisali narin yun dun. hehe.
